About EAA Board of DirectorsMeet the dedicated professionals leading the Educational Audiology Association during 2026. Past-President Rachel Parkington, AuDDr. Rachel Parkington holds a Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D) from The University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Communication Disorders from The University of Massachusetts. In 2015, Dr. Parkington founded Hear to Learn, a venture dedicated to providing Educational Audiology Services to students across New Hampshire. She remains committed to advocating for and expanding these essential services throughout the state. She has served as the President of the New Hampshire Academy of Audiology, the New Hampshire Commission for Deafness and Hearing Loss, the New Hampshire Deaf Child’s Bill of Rights Committee, and the Educational Audiology Association Advocacy Committee. In her free time, Dr. Parkington enjoys spending quality moments with her family and exploring new hiking trails, paddle-boarding spots, and adventurous destinations across New England.
President Aurora Weaver, PhD, AuDAurora J. Weaver is an Associate Professor for the Department of Speech, Language Hearing Sciences. She received her bachelor’s degree in Hearing, Speech and Language Sciences, as well as her clinical doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) and Ph.D. in Hearing Science from Ohio University. Her position includes clinical supervision, graduate and undergraduate instruction, and serving as the Lead Researcher in the Auditory and Music Perception (AMP) Lab. The AMP lab focuses on Developmental Psychoacoustics, Central Auditory Processes, Diagnostic Audiology, and Auditory Benefits of Musical Training. Her current research merges clinical and psychoacoustics tools to evaluate auditory readiness for demanding classroom environments. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Educational Audiology Association (EAA) since 2020.
President-Elect Kathleen Riley, AuD, CCC-A, F-AAADr. Riley is an educational audiologist with 40+ years of experience working with children with hearing loss, their families, and service providers. In her retirement, Kathi has been very interested in cCMV including public awareness, school-based management, and universal screening.
Vice President of Advocacy Natasha Seaton, AuDDr. Natasha Seaton is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies at The University of Arizona. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from The University of Arizona. Prior to being an audiologist, she graduated from Columbia University — Teacher’s College with a Masters in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education and taught deaf and hard of hearing children in New York City for several years. Her passion lies in collaborating between disciplines and ensuring access for all deaf and hard of hearing children.
Vice President of Awards/Nominations Alisha Lambeth Jones, AuD, PhDDr. Alisha Jones is an Associate Professor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Auburn University. Dr. Jones earned her Ph.D., Au.D., and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of South Alabama. She leads the Hearing Education and Aural Rehabilitation Lab, where her research focuses on acceptable noise levels, aural habilitation and rehabilitation, pediatric audiology, and auditory processing disorders. In her teaching role, Dr. Jones offers courses including Hearing Rehabilitation, Pediatric Audiology, Aural Habilitation, Balance Disorders, Implant Technology, and Counseling.
Vice President of Continuing Education Kate Jablonski, AuDKate Jablonski, AuD is the Educational Audiologist for the Lake Washington School District in Washington State. She graduated from Western Washington University with a Masters in Audiology and earned her AuD from AT Still University. Professional experiences include working in school districts, sales for a major hearing aid manufacturer, and as a founding member of Wave Education Partners, an educational consulting group. She is the state representative for Washington for EAA and serves on several committees, volunteering to support networking, online collaboration, and monthly meetings for Educational Audiologists in Washington State.
Vice President of Membership/Public Relations Brianne Fink, AuDDr. Brianne Fink is an Educational Audiologist in the Paradise Valley Unified School District in Phoenix, AZ. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University in 2014. Dr. Fink is the Vice President of Membership and Public Relations for the Educational Audiology Association, Clinical Director of Special Olympics Healthy Hearing in Arizona, and clinical preceptor and adjunct professor for the ATSU Doctor of Audiology program. Dr. Fink is passionate about advocating for school-age children who have hearing loss and other listening needs, and providing education to school staff through exceptional school-based audiological care and support.
Vice President of Online Communications Sarah Sparks, AuD, CCC-A, CH-TMDr. Sparks is a full-time educational audiologist within Baltimore City Public Schools. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree at Gallaudet University, where she now teaches courses as an adjunct instructor and serves as an off-campus clinical preceptor for students in the AuD program. She also teaches audiology courses for future teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing, operates a small online business focused on educating the public about audiology, and volunteers as part of a sign language-focused medical mission team that serves deaf and hard of hearing children in the Middle East and North Africa.
Vice President of Professional Materials Hanna Page, AuDDr. Hanna Page earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Northern Illinois University. Originally from Belarus, she brings a global perspective to her work in educational audiology. She is the founder of Colorado Ears, LLC, through which she provides educational audiology services and supports schools across Colorado. Her passion lies in ensuring that students with hearing needs receive the resources necessary for academic success no matter where they live. Dr. Page has been an active volunteer and leader in the profession, serving on multiple committees and boards including the Student Academy of Audiology, the American Academy of Audiology, and the state audiology board.
Vice President of Publications Amy Bradbury, AuD, CCC-AAmy Bradbury, Au.D., has worked as an educational audiologist in the Central New York region for the past 22 years. She serves as a preceptor for Au.D. students enrolled at Syracuse University. Amy is dedicated to raising awareness about the important role of educational audiologists in schools. She has actively collaborated with various regions within New York State to establish job opportunities for new educational audiologists and provide ongoing mentorship. She is one of the NYS state representatives for EAA and is serving as VP of Publications on the EAA board.
2027 Conference Co-Coordinator Tena McNamara, AuDDr. Tena McNamara is the coordinator of the Cultural and Informational Hearing Center in Peoria, IL. She retired as an associate professor from the Communication Disorders and Sciences Department at Eastern Illinois University and as an educational audiologist with the Special Education Association of Peoria County. She has been a practicing audiologist for over 40 years and has held dual certification in speech-language pathology for 33 years. She co-chaired the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) 2021 Convention and the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) 2010 and 2011 Conventions. She has served as President of ASHA, ISHA, and EAA.
2027 Conference Co-Coordinator Kim Ward, AuD, CCC-ADr. Kim Ward, AuD, CCC-A, is an Associate Professor of Audiology at The University of Southern Mississippi and serves as Vice President for Academic Affairs in Audiology on the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Board of Directors. Her work focuses on pediatric and educational audiology, interdisciplinary training, and improving access to care through health literacy. An ASHA Fellow and National Academies of Practice Distinguished Scholar Fellow, she is committed to advancing the profession through research, mentorship, and clinical education.
